We welcome visitors to our banding station and regularly schedule visits from student groups, local organizations, visiting scientists and community members.
We operate our songbird migration station daily in the spring from April 1st through May 31st and in the fall from August 15th through early November. Our owl banding season starts mid-October and continues into November. In summer, we band weekly at our MAPS station from June 1st through the end of July. We also band Kestrels at nest boxes across South County in July.
